With digital payments becoming the backbone of Hyderabad’s economy, the outage led to chaos at retail stores, restaurants, fuel stations, and even hospitals. Many people reported failures in UPI apps such as Google Pay, PhonePe, and Paytm, while others faced long delays in processing payments.
