Hyderabad, August 2025 – Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has lauded former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his visionary approach in shaping Hyderabad’s IT sector, which has played a crucial role in the city’s rapid economic and technological growth.

Speaking at a public event, CM Revanth Reddy acknowledged that Naidu’s futuristic policies and infrastructure development in the late 1990s and early 2000s laid the foundation for Hyderabad’s emergence as a global IT hub. He highlighted that initiatives like the creation of HITEC City and Cyberabad attracted top multinational companies, generating lakhs of jobs and boosting the state’s revenue.

Revanth emphasized that the strong base laid by Naidu has allowed successive governments to expand on this vision, making the city one of India’s fastest-growing IT destinations.

While praising Naidu’s contributions, CM Revanth also stressed the importance of sustaining innovation, digital infrastructure, and skill development to ensure that Hyderabad continues to remain competitive on the global stage. He assured that the Telangana government will work on strengthening IT policies, investments, and employment opportunities for the youth.
